Can the eTA to Canada be extended?

No, the Canada eTA cannot be extended:

  1. Duration of the eTA: An eTA is usually valid for several years or until the applicant's passport expires, whichever comes first. During this period, you can make multiple entries into Canada.
  2. Renewal or new application: When the eTA is about to expire or it has already expired and you wish to enter Canada again, you will need to submit a new eTA application.
  3. Application process: The process for applying for a new ETA is similar to the initial one. You must provide the required information about your identity, travel history, health status, and other relevant details. The response time for the application can vary, but it is usually processed quickly, especially if there have not been significant changes in your situation since the last application.
