Q. How far in advance of my trip should I request the NZeTA?
A. The New Zealand NZeTA can be requested at least 5 days in advance; however, it is advisable to request it 15 days prior to the travel date to ensure that everything is in order and there are no last-minute issues with flights or accommodation bookings.
Q. What do I need to apply for the NZeTA to New Zealand?
A. To apply for the eVisa, you will need a scanned copy of your passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country, and a recent passport photo size.

A. No, the NZeTA cannot be extended. If your NZeTA is expired or about to expire and you want to travel to New Zealand, you will have to apply for a new one.

A. No, there is not a transit visa. If you want to travel to New Zealand, you will need to apply for the NZeTA.

A. Before making any changes to your application, please consider the following points:
- If your application has been processed and confirmed, no changes can be made.
- If your application is still being processed, no changes can be made.
- You will only be able to modify your application if you have pending documentation or data on your application form. Please note that once you confirm your application, an automated system starts to make checks and connections with our databases. This is why you should thoroughly check all your application details and documentation before confirming the registration of your application.
