How far in advance of my trip should I request the eVisa?


The Egypt eVisa can be requested 5 days before travel, but it is recommended to apply at least 10 days in advance to avoid unforseen issues and ensure timely approval.



What do I need to apply for the eVisa to Egypt?


To apply for a single entry eVisa or multiple entry eVisa for Egypt, you must meet the following specific requirements:

I have requested the eVisa, how long does it take to process?


The processing time for eVisas man vary depending on the accuracy of the information and documentation provided and the type of processing chosen when making the application. Applications are typically processed within 96 hours; however, many receive a response sooner.

What is the cost of the eVisa to Egypt?


The total cost of the single entry eVisa for Egypt €104, which includes the government fee of €25 and a service fee of €79. This service fee covers application review24/7 support, and a simplified process to prevent errors and delays. 

On the other hand, the multiple entry eVisa is priced at €139, which includes the government fee of €60 and the service fee.

If you need urgent processing within 48 hours, the total price of the single entry eVisa is €124, while the multiple entry eVisa is €159.



How long is the eVisa for Egypt valid, and what is the permitted stay with it?


The single entry eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of approval, and allows a maximum stay of 30 days in the country. The multiple entry eVisa, on the other hand, offers the same 30-day stay, but with a validity of 180 days from the date of approval and with the possibility of entering and leaving the country without the need to apply for a new eVisa.

 


Can the eVisa be extended?


It is not possible to extend the duration of the eVisa. If you wish to stay longer you must leave the country bedore it expires, and apply for a new one when the current one expires.


Is there a transit visa? is it required for Egypt?


Yes, Egypt offers a specific transit visa for travelers making a stopover in the country. It is requiered if you plan to leave the international transit area of the airport during your layover. This visa must be obtained through an Egyptian embassy or consulate before your trip.
