For how long is the ESTA to Puerto Rico valid?

The ESTA is valid for 2 years or until the applicant's passport expires, whichever occurs first. During this validity period, you can travel multiple times to the United States, including Puerto Rico as long as each stay does not exceed the 90 days allowed under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).

It is important to take into account that the validity of the ESTA does not automatically dictate the permitted length of stay on each visit. Each entry under the ESTA allows a maximum stay of 90 days per visit. Additionally, if the passport associated with the ESTA expires before the 2-year validity period from the date of issue, the ESTA will also expire.

The ESTA is an electronic authorization that simplifies the entry process for citizens of participating countries in the VWP traveling to the United States, including Puerto Rico, for tourism, business, or transit purposes.
